Family visits

Shortly before I moved back to the U.S. my cousin and his beautiful new wife came and visited. We did a little photo session on the beach for them. It ended up being the most amazing sunset. The clouds the sprinkles of rain and the beautiful colors were perfect. I ended up taking one of my favorite pictures of our beach. This was the beach that was right out our back door while we lived in the DR. We spent many day's out playing in the sand with the kids while we lived there. I have printed my favorite beach picture from this session and hung it in our home as a memory of our time in the DR. The pictures of these two turned out amazing and I am so happy I got to visit with people I care about while I lived in such a wonderful place.

Family

 This past few months have had been able to take family pictures for families that I love. This one is extra special because they are part of my family. One thing I know as a mom is that planning for family pictures can be stressful. A lot of work goes into planning clothes and getting kids ready with only a couple of disasters. Then after 30 minutes of running around with a crazy lady holding a camera on the top of a mountain you hope and pray things turned out the way you imagined.

My cute sister in law wrangled this wild and crazy bunch together and I am so pleased with how things turned out. I was luck and got to take my own crazy kids on this session to help with the smiles and wresting match at the end.
